A private room offers yet a another bar, sitting area and the original stone fireplace of the Grand Hotel. Upstairs you will find two en suite bedrooms for guests. The front door off the main dining room will take you out to a deck with magical views of the Catskill Mountains, overlooking the Big Indian Valley towards Slide Mountain. The original stonework from the Grand Hotel is massive, and will take your breath away. Stone walls, walkways, the grand front stair entrance. A separate building was a lodge and offered eight aparments. This building is in need of updating and repair but seems to be stucturally sound. As they say, history repeats itself. This is a time when visitors are looking for peace and solace in the country, away from the overwhelm that life can be. One of the most beautiful locations and rich in history, this would be the spot to transform it into a getaway.
